Dad is out of Surgery.

They weren't able to get to the Aneurysm Via Catheter and had to do open but he is doing well! He is in ICU but stable and we have gotten a few smiles. I appreciate all the prayers :) Thank you everyone!!

Do you know what Down Syndrome is?

It is also known as Trisomy 21. Do you know why? Tri for 3. On the 21st Chromosome. Typical people have 46 Chromosomes. Twenty three from Mom and Twenty three from dad. Two 1st Two 2nd Two 3rd etc.... People with Trisomy 21 have three 21st Chromosomes. The rest of their Chromosomes are the same as the Typical person so reality is they are not really all that differant. The one little extra Chromosome is something all people with Trisomy 21 have in common. BUT they are all unique individuals! Just a few things I have learned over the past few years thought i'd share.
